Job summary

Manitoulin Transport seeks a warehouse/yard worker for night shifts in Dryden, Ontario. The role involves coordinating with Central Dispatch and fellow staff to organize and set up shifts, loading and unloading trailers, and routing freight to drivers.

Kandidats must safely handle heavy lifting, maintain a clean yard and warehouse, and comply with Health & Safety policies. This position supports operations across North America with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Good organization skills.
• Forklift experience required.
• Able to work in a busy environment safely.
• Able to work well with others as well as alone.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Night shift 9pm to 5am.

Responsibilities

• Organize and set up the shift with Central Dispatch and other workers.
• Load/unload inbound and outbound trailers.
• Distribute freight to P&D Drivers.
• Document overages, shortages and damages.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean.
• Heavy lifting required.
• Follow Health & Safety and Company policies.
• Safe, Claims free Movement and sorting of freight.
• Work with foreman for other duties as needed.
