Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Worker in Ontario to operate a forklift, load/unload trailers, and manage yard duties. You will support shift changes with the central dispatch team and ensure accurate handling of freight.

The role requires safety focus, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a capacity to work well both independently and with others during the 9pm–5am shift. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Able to work in a busy environment safely.
• Good organization skills.
• Able to work well with others as well as alone.
• Night shift 9pm to 5am.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Central Dispatch and teammates to organize and set up the shift.
• Load/unload inbound and outbound trailers.
• Distribute freight to P&D drivers.
• Document overages, shortages and damages.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean.
• Follow Health & Safety and company policies.
• Ensure safe, claims-free movement and sorting of freight.
• Assist foreman with other duties as needed.
