Job summary

Manitoulin Group of Companies is seeking a hardworking yard/warehouse associate for night shifts in Canada. Responsibilities include organizing shifts with dispatch, loading/unloading trailers, and distributing freight to drivers.

Heavy lifting is required and forklift experience is mandatory. You will follow safety policies and help maintain a clean yard and warehouse, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and company policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good collaboration with others and ability to work independently.
• Night shift from 9pm to 5am.

Responsibilities

• Work with Central Dispatch and other workers to organize and setup the shift.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
• Distribute freight to P&D Drivers.
• Document overages, shortages and damages.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean.
• Perform heavy lifting as required.
• Follow Health & Safety and company policies.
• Ensure safe, Claims-free movement and sorting of freight.
• Assist foreman with other duties as needed.
