Job summary

Manitoulin Transport seeks a dependable dock attendant to load and unload trailers, distribute freight to drivers, and document variances. The role involves reweighing and cubing freight, maintaining yard cleanliness, and following safety policies in a fast-paced setting.

The position runs 15:00 to 23:30, Monday to Friday, offering competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities within our extensive North American network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliability for future growth with our company.
• Must work well with others and take direction.
• Must be able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Able to solve problems when they arrive.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload inbound and outbound trailers.
• Distribute freight to P&D Drivers.
• Document overages, shortages, and damages.
• Reweigh and cube freight.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• Follow Health and safety policies and company policies.

• Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound trailers
• Distributing freight to P&D Drivers
• Documenting overages, shortages, and damages
• Reweighing and cubing freight
• Keeping the yard and warehouse clean
• Heavy lifting may be required
• Ability to follow Health and safety policies along with our company policies, claims‑free movement and sorting of freight

Your work week is as follows: 15:00 to 23:30 Monday to Friday.
