Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a warehouse associate to load and unload trailers, and to distribute freight to P&D drivers. You will document overages and damages, reweigh and cube freight, and keep the yard clean while adhering to health and safety policies.

Typical hours are 01:00 - 09:30, Tuesday to Saturday. Competitive wages with benefits, profit sharing, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must work well with others and take direction.
• Must be able to think on your feet in a high pace environment.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Able to solve problems when they arrive.

Responsibilities

Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound trailers

Distributing freight to P&D Drivers

Documenting overages, shortages and damages

Reweighing and cubing freight

Keeping the yard and warehouse clean. Heavy lifting may be required, Ability to follow Health & Safety and Company policies Safe, Claims free Movement and sorting of freight.
