Job summary

Tri-Line Carriers LP is seeking a Night-Shift Yard Operations Supervisor (Shunt & Tarp) at our Carseland, AB facility. You will lead tarp and shunt crews, ensure safety, drive productivity, and act as the on-site contact for customers.

Required 3–5 years in yard/logistics with leadership, plus a valid Class 1 license for on-site shunting and willingness to work nights. Join a team-focused operation in Western Canada.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in yard, logistics or industrial operations with leadership experience.
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License required for on-site trailer shunting.
• Experience pulling super B trailers is preferred.
• Night shift availability and hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day yard operations, supervising tarp and shunt crews.
• Drive team performance by ensuring productivity and targets are met.
• Enforce a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Operate a shunt tractor to move trailers between staging areas and load bays.
• Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of materials.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and mentor team members.
• Act as primary on-site customer contact and build relationships.
