Job summary

UPS is seeking a part-time, permanent Yard Driver/Shifter to operate at the Concord, Ontario location. Shifts run Tuesday to Saturday with a 2:00 AM start and 3-5 hours per day, handling 28' and 53' trailers in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The role includes moving trailers, following safety rules, and potential weekend work. AZ/trailer experience is a plus; a G2/G license and clean driving record are required, with benefits commencing after 12 months.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G2/G Driver's License.
• Clean driving abstract with limited violations.
• Ability to lift and push up to 75 pounds.
• AZ license or Tractor-Trailer experience is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Move/shift Company trailers within a defined area.
• Adhere to and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Follow and execute safe/defensive driving methods.
• Drive with and reverse dollies, 28' and 53' trailers.
