Job summary

Gordon Food Service - Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Delta, BC team. The role focuses on material handling, order selection, and various warehouse tasks, with a 5×8 night schedule from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Starting wage is $27.22/hour, with potential to reach $36.86/hour after 24 months. A $1–$18/hour incentive, night/diff, and various benefits enhance compensation and career growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and assist teammates as needed.
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Operation of pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be able to work weekends and statutory holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manually lifting food service products (10–70 lbs) onto pallets and preparing pallets for shipping to customers.
• Accurately scanning and selecting products using a computerized inventory system.
• Safe operation of power equipment including electric pallet jacks.
• Work across temperature zones, including freezer (-20°C), cooler, and dry goods areas.
• Exposure to and handling of various food products.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety rules and Food Safety programs.
• All other duties as required.
