Job summary

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Night Shift Lead to oversee production operations on the night shift in a fast-paced, Lean environment. Ensures safety, quality, and efficiency while driving continuous improvement and waste reduction across the shift.

You will coach frontline teams, manage production schedules, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime. SAP familiarity is a plus, and a strong leadership background in food manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within a food manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience leading frontline manufacturing teams.
• Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence systems.
• Experience utilizing KPIs and performance metrics to drive business results.
• SAP experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, service, and productivity targets.
• Coordinate production flow, staffing, equipment availability, and material requirements to maximize efficiency.
• Establish clear expectations, monitor performance, and ensure accountability for results.
• Oversee overall plant operations, security, shipments, paperwork, and facility-related responsibilities during off-shifts.
• Partner with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Provide hands-on leadership and direction to the Operations Team, coaching and developing staff.
• Complete SAP transactions and inventory-related activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits, compliance, and operational reporting.
