Job summary

Magna Powertrain in Ontario is seeking a skilled press operator to join a fast‑paced production team. You will operate presses, vibra deburring, and part washers, ensuring parts meet specifications and production targets.

You will complete quality documentation, perform TPM inspections, and assist in training new operators. A valid forklift and crane license, strong English communication, and adherence to 5S and safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Strong command of the English language (verbal and written).
• Ability to use basic and advanced measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of TS 16949 / ISO 14001 / WHMIS.
• Valid forklift and crane operator licenses.
• Confined space - / Lock‑out / Tag‑out and WHMIS training.
• SPC Level 1.
• Experience in a press environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment daily to meet targets.
• Complete quality documentation as per requirements.
• Perform TPM inspections and communicate open issues.
• Train new operators on equipment.
• Maintain area housekeeping and safe operation.
• Participate in continuous improvement.
