Job summary

Sysco FreshPoint in Canada is seeking a dependable order picker to support nightly operations. You will palletize finished products, organize coolers, and ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification is preferred. You will work with electric pallet jacks and voice-directed picking systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in order picking or related role.
• Forklift certification preferred; voice-directed picking system training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order Selection: Palletize and organize finished products.
• Organize finish product cooler and put away at end of production.
• Vigilantly monitor product quality.
• Coordinate with other workstations to ensure order completion.
• Put away finish product and raw material at end of shift.
• Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements.
• Speak up about hazards and ensure safety of self and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
