Maple Leaf Foods in Winnipeg is seeking a skilled Millwright for night shifts (Sunday–Thursday, 9:30pm–6:00am) to maintain and service production equipment. You’ll ensure safe plant operations and adherence to food safety policies while performing repairs, fabrications, welding, and readings of mechanical drawings.

Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required. Two to three lines about the team environment and schedule.

Competenze

• Must have valid Millwright's license (Red Seal) and minor electrical repair knowledge.
• Prefer 3-5 years’ experience in related maintenance roles.
• Must have own hand tools and be able to work independently.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot, repair and install processing equipment with electrical awareness.
• Process oral/printed work requests and apply corrective actions.
• Run regular work orders and track inventory and labour on a computerized system.
• Demonstrate strong mechanics knowledge: power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Read mechanical drawings/schematics and perform fabrications for repairs.
• Weld equipment or parts as needed and follow food safety policies.
