Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Machine Operator 1 (Night Shift) in Toronto, ON. The role requires operating production lines safely, meeting quality standards, and maintaining a clean manufacturing environment. Starting rate is $20.11 per hour with shift premiums possible.

You will set up equipment, monitor production, perform adjustments, and document activities in ERP and reporting tools, while ensuring health & safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Machine Operator experience or equivalent.
• Electric Pallet Truck license is a definite asset.
• Follow SOPs, HACCP, WHMIS and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for product runs and changeovers with maintenance as needed.
• Monitor production to meet daily and weekly plans.
• Perform corrective machine adjustments for optimal performance.
• Maintain shift logs and report quality data in ERP systems.
• Train others on SOPs, GMPs, equipment and health and safety standards.
