Job Summary

Responsible for supervising employees within the assigned shift. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the job.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Set production goals and expectations.
  2. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment. Set up and operate machinery.
  3. Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
  4. Operate forklift as directed and without supervision while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  5. Inspect work in progress and finished products.
  6. Oversee the daily preventive maintenance program.
  7. Track and report inventory and parts usage.
  8. Analyze scorecards and day shift production reports.
  9. Train, promote, and discipline employees.
  10. Ensure all safety rules are followed and employees adhere to safety programs.
  11. Supervise employees in the department to ensure they meet quality and production standards.
  12. Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned temporarily or permanently as needed.
Job Requirements
  1. Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Experience providing on-the-job training to team members, including operation of forklift, bobcat, loader, and development of production machine troubleshooting skills.
  3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  4. Walking up and down elevated catwalks and stairs and standing for long periods.
  5. Ability to work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures.
Compensation

This position will start at $29.40.
