Job summary

The Home Depot in Canada is seeking a Freight Team Associate to stock merchandise, keep shelves neat, and assist customers with their projects. You will operate reach trucks, forklifts and order pickers while maintaining safe conditions and following store policies.

Experience in retail or distribution is an asset; a high school diploma is required. Nights and weekends may be part of the schedule; willingness to work in a warehouse environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–2 years Retail or Distribution experience an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise on shelves to achieve 100% in stock.
• Packing-out and packing-down merchandise as directed.
• Merchandising new items and promotions and keeping aisles clean and accessible.
• Maintaining and organizing overheads (e.g., striping overheads).
• Communicating with freight team members to ensure proper stocking.
