Job summary

The Home Depot in Canada (Elaho/Garibaldi area) is hiring a Freight Team Associate to stock shelves, organize the sales floor, and assist customers with their projects. You will operate reach trucks and order pickers, pick and pack orders, and label items for efficient storage and retrieval.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in retail or distribution, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 to 2 years Retail or Distribution experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock.
• Packing-out and packing-down merchandise as directed.
• Merchandising new items and promotions.
• Maintaining aisle cleanliness and shoppability to ensure merchandise is accessible and presented well.
• Maintaining and organizing overheads (e.g., striping overheads).
• Communicating with other freight team members to ensure products are stocked properly.
