Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking Freight Team Associates to stock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and assist customers. You may operate reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines to bring merchandise to the sales floor.

This role involves packing orders, labeling, and placing items into holding areas while maintaining safe, clean aisles. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of retail or distribution experience are assets; shifts may include overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 to 2 years Retail or Distribution experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise onto shelves to maintain 100% in stock.
• Pack-out and pack-down merchandise as directed.
• Merchandise new items and promotions.
• Maintain aisle cleanliness and accessibility for customers.
• Maintain and organize overheads (e.g., striping overheads).
• Communicate with freight team to stock products in correct areas.
