Job summary

Natural Factors in Kelowna is seeking a Maintenance TQ Electrician (nights 2-2-3) at the Kelowna Main Facility. You will troubleshoot and repair diverse equipment across production, utility and processing, and lead on projects and new equipment installations.

You will collaborate with Process Engineering and Operations to optimize equipment performance, apply welding and fabricating skills, and grow within a socially responsible company focused on improving the wellbeing of its customers.

Qualifications

• . Multi-skilled background spanning electronics, electrical, mechanical, structural and piping.
• . Knowledge of compressed air, PLC controllers, instrumentation (flow/temp/pressure/encoders), VFDs, DC motors and drives, vacuum pumps and HVAC equipment, servo drives, pneumatics and HMI controls.
• . Trade Electrician ticket; dual trade is an asset.
• . Minimum 5 years of operation and maintenance experience with related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair diverse, specialized equipment relating to production, utility, and processing.
• Work with and support other trade disciplines, creating a team atmosphere.
• Take the lead on projects and new equipment installations as required.
• Use welding and fabricating skills, and learn new skills through cross training.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering and Operations to optimize equipment performance.
