Job summary

Wonderbrands in Calgary is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to assist the Maintenance team with electrical troubleshooting, installation, and preventive maintenance in our manufacturing facility.

You will work with Electricians, read schematics, and support control panels while progressing through the electrical apprenticeship program. A fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn and grow, including overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently registered in a recognized Apprenticeship Program.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or food-processing environment is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, controls, and electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with wiring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and control panels.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in line with 5S standards.
• Document maintenance activities and parts used.
