Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Kitchener, ON is looking for a Mixer to join our 3rd shift production team. The role involves measuring and mixing dough ingredients, following exact formulas, and maintaining GMP and safety standards in a high-demand environment.

You will monitor times, record batch data, operate controls, and coordinate with forklift staff to stage ingredients for the next shift. We offer a competitive hourly wage and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to handle the physically demanding nature of the position (lift 25–50 lb regularly).

Responsibilities

• Measure and mix ingredients according to formula specifications, using appropriately colored scoops for allergen ingredients.
• Monitor set times and mixing processes, perform quality control checks, and ensure dough temperature meets specifications.
• Unload completed batches, transfer them to the next station, and scrape and clean the mixer after unloading.
• Record batch numbers for ingredients, make blends on the process order sheet and in SAP, and maintain detailed downtime sheets and process control sheets.
• Operate machine controls to transfer liquids to the mixer, set timers, and perform pre-operation inspections.
• Arrange for the appropriate ingredients with a forklift operator from staging areas and position them at the mixer station, ensuring they are prepared for the following shift.
