Job summary

THE PIG Hotel | B Corp is hiring a Night Porter to join the nights team at THE PIG. The role supports reception, housekeeping and guest services during night hours, helping prepare the hotel for the following day and ensuring guest safety.

No prior experience is required; what matters is confidence, commitment and the ability to work efficiently overnight. A casual contract with 40 hours per week is offered, with a focus on reliability and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Cover reception duties during night shifts.
• Assist housekeeping and guest services.
• Attend to hotel guests and address their needs.
• Carry out safety checks and hotel inspections as required.

Job description

Location: THE PIG - on the beach, Studland, Swanage, BH19 3AU
Salary: £13.01 per hour (OTE £13.86 per hour including tronc)
Hours: 40 ho0 hours per week, casual contract
We are delighted to start the search for a Night Porter to join our nights team.
The nights team at THE PIG form the backbone of the hotel’s operation. It is not just about being present at night but preparing the hotel for the following day and providing safety to our guests.
As a Night Porter at THE PIG, you will discover that each night is never the same. You will carry out various duties, from covering the reception to housekeeping and attending to our hotel guests. From time to time, you may also be required to carry out safety checks and hotel inspections.
No experience is required, as a Night Porter you will just need the confidence and commitment along with maturity and ability to follow direction and work efficiently during the night.
