Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager to supervise Back End Operations including Receiving, RTV and Freight. You will work with the Fulfillment Team ASM to keep stores Grand Opening Day Ready daily, drive safety standards and store profitability, and train Associates.

You will recruit, coach, and develop staff, manage schedules, and ensure efficient operations and accurate stock control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer experience is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Team player.
• Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing applicants and recommending hire decisions.
• Recommend terminations, promotions, and pay adjustments to store manager.
• Communicate store objectives to associates.
• Coach, train and develop associates with on-floor and formal feedback.
• Create career paths for associates to reduce turnover.
• Ensure Back End operations are excellent and staffing meets truck demand.
• Ensure merchandise is received and delivered safely to the sales floor.
• Maintain 100% stock, clean aisles, and orderly displays daily.
