Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager to oversee Back End Operations and ensure the store is always “Grand Opening Day Ready.” You will supervise Receiving, RTV, and Freight, drive safety and compliance, coach associates, and partner with the Store Manager and other ASMs to improve profitability.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of management experience, strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to lead

Minimum 2 years of management experience.
Excellent customer service, strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Recruiting, interviewing applicants and recommending hires.
Advise store manager on terminations, promotions and pay increases.
Communicate store objectives to associates and coach development.
Develop career paths and minimize turnover across processes.
Ensure Back End operations are efficient and well-staffed.
Maintain safety, compliance and DOT requirements for drivers.
Lead and execute safety programs and routines.
Coordinate training and performance feedback for associates.
Plan actions to meet daily shift priorities and store goals.
