Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Freight Team Associate in Campbell River to stock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and provide customer service as needed. This role may involve operating reach trucks, forklifts, and order picker machines to move products to the sales floor and to pick and pack orders with care.

Candidates should have a Highschool Diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years of retail or distribution experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years retail or distribution experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock.
• Packing-out and packing-down merchandise; merchandising new items and promotions.
• Maintain aisle cleanliness and shoppability to ensure merchandise is accessible and presented well.
• Labeling and placing orders into specified holding areas.
• Follow safety and loss prevention policies and procedures.
