Job summary

Housing Information Services is seeking a Client Support Worker to assist with the City of Windsor’s Homelessness and Housing Help Hub. The role involves indoor and outdoor safety monitoring, helping participants access services, and supporting program operations from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with potential weekend/holiday shifts.

The position requires a Bachelor degree in Social Work or Social Science, or a college diploma, or 1-2 years of relevant experience; excellent communication and crisis

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Social Work or Social Science, or relevant college diploma, or 1-2 years of related experience.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety indoors and outdoors; respond to incidents and support services.
• Welcome participants, build rapport, and assist with basic needs like food and clothing.
• Assist with daily program operations and inventory management.
• Support referrals to community resources and maintain data records.
