Job summary

The Jordan Hotel in Ontario, Canada is seeking a Night Auditor to support overnight operations, maintain high service standards, and ensure accurate financial records for the property.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience with Opera computer system preferred.
• Must have Opera operating system knowledge.
• Previous experience in a customer service position.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional computer skills.
• Strong communication skills between guests, management and co-workers.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability in multi-tasking, organization, working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, working in fast paced environment with strong attention to details.
• Exceptional conflict resolution skills in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Check-ins, check-outs and handling all guest registrations.
• Making and modifying reservations.
• Hotel operator and concierge related duties.
• Collect payments, posting charges to guest accounts, cash and debit transactions, direct billing, maintaining a float, cashing out at end of shift.
• Knowledge of hotel property and surrounding area.
• Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies and act as necessary.
• Serve as the evening steward of the property by monitoring security cameras, hallways, and entrance ways to help ensure guest safety and property security.
• Assist with set-up of continental breakfast and/or beverage stations, if applicable.
• Responsible for running the audit and preparing necessary financial reports.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for next business day.
