Job summary

Cabot Lodge Inverness in Nova Scotia is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to manage overnight operations, balance guest accounts, and support Front Desk duties. You will handle reservations, deposits, check-ins and check-outs, and generate daily reports for department heads with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in Guest Services with knowledge of Inverness and surrounding areas.
• Night Audit with accounting background is an asset.
• Excellent computer skills and reservations systems experience are assets.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance service standards.
• Highly organized and detail oriented in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent telephone manner and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight operations and balance guest accounts and revenues.
• Process reservations, confirmations, cancellations, and deposits.
• Greet and assist guests in a professional manner according to Cabot Links' standards.
• Post nightly transactions and monitor in-house guest accounts.
• Produce daily reports for departments and transfer to Accounting.
• Answer calls promptly and maintain accurate files and records.
