Job summary

Germain Hotels group in Canada is seeking an autonomous Night Auditor to manage guest arrivals and departures, record daily transactions, and respond to urgent situations during the night shift. You will work independently in a dynamic environment, ensuring accuracy and security while coordinating with morning staff.

The ideal candidate has hotel or accounting background, night audit experience preferred, and strong communication, organization, and initiative.

We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation.

What You'll Do

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including: reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly.
