Job summary

Germain Hotels group in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Night Auditor to welcome guests during the overnight shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. You will handle check-ins/outs, record daily transactions, and respond quickly to emergencies while maintaining a calm, empathetic approach.

You will reconcile deposits, produce reports, and collaborate with morning teams to ensure smooth handoffs. A hotel or accounting background is preferred, plus night-audit experience.

Your calm temperament vibrates to the rhythm of the night! Are you a night owl who enjoys working in an unpredictable environment where initiative is an undeniable asset? We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation.

This position follows an overnight schedule from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

What You'll Do

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including: reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly.

The hourly rate for this role is $23.19 plus 1$/h night premium , in alignment with internal equity.
