Job summary

Germain Hotels group is seeking a Night Auditor to manage late-evening operations and guest check-ins/outs while recording daily transactions. You will respond to urgent situations with autonomy and professional composure, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations and reporting.

The role emphasizes initiative, organization, and strong communication to maintain seamless overnight operations with the day team arriving in the morning.

Qualifications

• Hotel or accounting background is an asset.
• Night Auditor experience is an asset.

• Fluent oral and written communication, with a positive and trustworthy attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform night audit accounting tasks including deposits reconciliation and report generation.
• Ensure premises security at night and decide on urgent situations when needed.
• Check-in/check-out guests and coordinate with the next morning team to ensure smooth operations.

Are you a night owl who enjoys working in an unpredictable environment where initiative is an undeniable asset? We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including: reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly.
