Job summary

Germain Hotels Group in Canada is seeking a Night Auditor for the overnight shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. You will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, record daily transactions, and respond to urgent situations while maintaining security throughout the night.

The role requires an autonomous, organized professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage unexpected events with poise. Experience in hotel or accounting is an asset.

Are you a night owl who enjoys working in an unpredictable environment where initiative is an undeniable asset? We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation.

This position follows an overnight schedule from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including: reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly.
