Germain Hotels in the Montreal area is seeking a Night Auditor to manage guest arrivals and departures, record daily transactions, and respond to urgent situations. The role is scheduled Friday to Monday with overnight shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. or 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., requiring autonomy and strong organizational skills.

You will ensure security and smooth communication with the morning team and other departments, contributing to a calm, guest-focused overnight operation.

Qualifications

• Hotel or accounting background is a plus.
• Experience as a Night Auditor is an asset.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations creatively and professionally.
• Autonomy, strong organizational skills, responsibility, and initiative.
• Fluent oral and written communication.
• Positive and trustworthy attitude.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation.

Schedule

The work schedule is from Friday to Monday, either from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. or from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly.
