St. Eugene Resort in Cranbrook, Alberta, is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure nightly financial accuracy and smooth overnight operations.
You will reconcile daily transactions, post charges, and generate reports while delivering guest service during overnight hours. Reporting to Front Office leadership, you will collaborate with front desk and housekeeping, maintain records, comply with policies, and resolve inquiries promptly.
The Night Audit position in the hospitality industry is a critical role responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily financial transactions and operational data overnight. This role serves as the bridge between the day and night shifts, reconciling accounts, generating reports, and preparing the property’s financial records for the next business day. The Night Auditor also provides exceptional guest service overnight, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, the Night Auditor ensures that all financial and operational data is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and industry standards, supporting the overall success of the hospitality operation. Reporting to the Front Office Leadership team, our Night Audit Agents (GSAs) serve as ambassadors for the hospitality, story, and culture of St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino. All members of the Front Office Team share responsibilities for seeking and acting on ways to enhance guests’ stays; responding to and fulfilling guest requests and inquiries; keeping guests their top priority; running office operations quickly, accurately, and thoroughly; and enjoying their work.
The Night Auditor utilizes strong analytical and numerical skills daily to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Attention to detail is essential when reviewing reports and identifying discrepancies to maintain data integrity. Effective communication skills are used to interact with guests and internal departments, providing clear and courteous assistance during overnight hours. Proficiency with property management systems and accounting software enables efficient transaction processing and report generation. Additionally, problem-solving skills are applied to resolve any operational or guest-related issues promptly, ensuring a seamless overnight experience.
All shifts are overnight 8 to 10-hour shifts, 2 to 4 shifts a week. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Position is subject to a 90-day probationary period, during which training must be completed in AM & PM.
