Job summary

Hyatt Regency Calgary is seeking a Night Auditor for a part-time overnight role. You will lead Front Desk operations overnight, support guest arrivals/departures, and ensure audits and daily reports are completed accurately.

The role requires at least 1 year of night audit experience, OPERA PMS experience preferred, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Night Auditor at a hotel or similar operation.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Overnight front desk leadership and collaboration with departments.
• Provide feedback to Front Office managers on service issues and guest requests.
• Execute nightly audit processes and prepare reports for the next day.
• Assist guests with arrivals and departures and ensure desk is staffed.
• Maintain courteous, safe, and efficient service by following hotel policies.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Night Auditor – Part-Time

As a Night Auditor you will be empowered to ensure each guest has an amazing stay and is provided with a genuine and welcoming experience whilst staying with us.

What is expected of me in this role?

• Leads Front Desk operation overnight while collaborating with all the departments and representing management.
• Provides regular feedback to Front office managers concerning service issues, guest requests, complaints, and comments.
• Conduct timely execution of the night audit process, and preparation of reports and information for the next day of operation.
• Assists guests with arrivals and departures and makes sure that the desk is manned at all times.
• Conducts duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner by following hotel policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained.
• Prepares daily internal hotel communications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include holidays.
• Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Ability to handle cash and credit procedures
• Shift starts at 11 pm-7:30 am
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Valid work authorization for Canada

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Night Auditor at a hotel or similar operation.
• Previous PMS experience is required; OPERA experience would be preferred.

The starting hourly rate for this role is $20CAD per hour
