Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling associate to turn every incoming delivery into a smooth, accurate flow. You will manage unloading, sort and place stock on shelves, and operate equipment such as forklifts to move product as needed.

You will schedule deliveries, verify inventory, complete required paperwork, and support store operations. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling deliveries and maintaining inventory accuracy.

• Ability to operate store equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
