Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member in Toronto to receive deliveries, maintain inventory flow, and ensure smooth product movement within the store. You will operate forklift equipment and assist in scheduling and processing deliveries.

Ideal candidates demonstrate a commitment to health and safety, strong attention to detail, and experience with material handling equipment. This role is based on-site in a retail environment, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to shelves (sort and unpack).
• Operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments; authorize unscheduled deliveries; ensure space for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of received inventory; complete paperwork accurately.
• Other related tasks to keep the store running smoothly.
