Job description

Department: Pharmacy

Department of Pharmacy Services is responsible for obtaining, storing, preparing and distributing all medications for patients in the hospital and outpatient clinics. Our goal is to provide a drug distribution system which is safe, secure, reliable and efficient. Drug distribution is supported by Pharmacy Assistants, Regulated Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge:

• Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists required
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPhm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• Experience in a Hospital setting is preferred

• Good attendance and work record required
• Excellent clinical assessment skills in identifying and solving drug related problems required

• Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required.
