Cenovus Energy's New Grad Program in Lloydminster, Alberta offers three consecutive 12-month rotations across Thermal Operations and Upgrader divisions, with potential relocation for the end-of-program placement. The program culminates in a permanent role based on business need and performance.

Successful candidates will complete their Power Engineering diploma by May 2027 and may relocate to Cenovus operating sites for rotations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Power Engineering must be obtained by May 31, 2027.
• Minimum 3rd class power engineering certificate or successful completion of 3rd class provincial exams, with ticket within 6 months of graduation.
• Willing to relocate to Cenovus operating sites for rotations and end-of-program placement.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and available to start June 2027.

Responsabilités

• Operate the Facility in a safe and effective manner, while working collaboratively as part of the operating team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all area-specific equipment to optimize performance.
• Perform condition monitoring including sampling and testing per area responsibilities.
• Complete area operations records (e.g., volume balances, log sheets, work permits and required reports).
• Support operations performed maintenance activities aligned to the site’s operating philosophy.
• Support on-site maintenance contractors by communicating Company’s requirements, policies, and procedures, while leading by example.
• Comply with all HS&E requirements in the performance of this Position's responsibilities.
