Architecture49 seeks a Senior Architect to establish and grow its presence in New Brunswick, based in Moncton or Fredericton. The role focuses on leading business development, cultivating client relationships, and overseeing project delivery with support from the Halifax team.

The candidate should have 10+ years of experience, NB licensure or eligibility, and strong knowledge of the NB market. The position works with a broad range of public and private sectors across Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• Registered architect in NB or eligible to be registered.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience including project leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of NB market and relationships within public/private sectors is a plus.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing project financial performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead business development activities throughout New Brunswick, identifying and pursuing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Represent Architecture49 in the marketplace through networking, events, and client engagement.
• Support pursuit strategies, proposal development, interviews and contract negotiations.
• Act as the primary contact for NB clients and help grow the regional presence.
• Collaborate with Halifax leadership and cross-Canada resources while working independently.
• Lead and manage projects from planning through construction administration.
• Manage a team producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure client needs, cost, quality and schedule targets are met.
• Oversee project financials including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing with accounting.
