Job summary

Providence Health Care is seeking an Electroneurophysiology Technologist to perform EEG, EMG (NCS) and Evoked Potentials testing at St. Paul’s Hospital.

You will prepare patients, apply electrodes, and ensure high-quality recordings for neurologists’ interpretation. This role requires completion of an Electroneurophysiology Technology program with relevant experience and certification progress within three years.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Electroneurophysiology Technology program plus two years' recent related experience.
• Certification with CBRET; BRETC/AAET to be attained within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Explain EEG, EMG (NCS) and EP procedures to patients and prepare them for testing.
• Perform standard EMG (NCS), EEG, and EP testing across hospital areas including ICU and neonatal EEG.
• Document stimulation parameters and patient responses for physician interpretation.
• Operate equipment, troubleshoot and report failures to supervisor.
