Job summary

Providence Health Care seeks a skilled Electroneurophysiology Technologist to perform EEG, EMG, and evoked potential testing across St. Paul’s Hospital and affiliated sites. You will record measurements, compile technical reports, and assist in patient care within an onsite environment.

The role requires completion of an Electroneurophysiology program, CBRET certification, and progress toward BRETC/AAET certifications within three years. Collaboration with physicians and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Electroneurophysiology Technology program.
• Certification with the CBRET is required.
• Certification with BRETC and/or AAET to be attained within first three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Explain EEG, EMG (NCS) and EP procedures to patients and prepare them for testing.
• Perform EEG, EMG (NCS) and EP testing across hospital settings including ICU and neonatal EEGs.
• Conduct Evoked Potential tests (visual, brainstem, somato-sensory) and adjust equipment for complete studies.
• Document findings and provide technical impressions for physicians.
