Job summary

T&T Supermarket in Vaughan is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage and secure our computer networks within a fast-paced retail environment.

You will coordinate LAN/WAN, monitor system performance, troubleshoot web servers, and supervise 1–2 technical staff, while supporting data backups and disaster recovery. English required; 40 hours/week on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration.
• College/CEGEP education required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access and use of computer networks.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software.
• Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
• Provide problem-solving services to network users.
• Implement data, software and hardware security procedures.
• Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet.
• Supervise technical staff (1 to 2 people).
