Job summary

Brookfield Renewable is seeking a Network Security Administrator to oversee security services, VPNs, SD-WAN, and connectivity across sites and cloud environments. You will partner with internal teams and MSPs to ensure secure, reliable network operations.

The role requires experience with Check Point security, threat prevention, and strong TCP/IP knowledge, plus ability to document and communicate complex configurations clearly.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in CS/Info Security/Networking or related field.
• Minimum five years IT infra experience, three with enterprise network security.
• Strong experience with Check Point firewalls, Security Management, SmartConsole, Threat Prevention.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee Check Point firewalls, policies, gateways, logging, and monitoring.
• Support WAN, routing, BGP, VPNs, SD-WAN and secure connectivity across sites and clouds.
• Coordinate upgrades, patching, backups, and lifecycle activities.
• Provide MSP oversight and review implementation plans and testing.
• Act as escalation point for network security incidents and changes.
• Support security investigations, vulnerability remediation, and controls.
