Network Analyst
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Employment Type:1 Year with 4 years extension
Onsite Requirement: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Full-time onsite)
On-Call: Rotational 1-week intervals
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Details
- Rate: Competitive hourly rate (inclusive of travel and living expenses; GST/PST extra).
- On-Call & Overtime: Required on a rotating basis, with OT as determined by Client.
- Travel: Required across Saskatchewan; overnight stays may be necessary.
- Security Requirements: Current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check and ability to obtain Client's Photo ID.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Position Overview
We are currently seeking two (2) Network Analyst Resources to join our clients Enterprise Networks team. These individuals will contribute to the design, implementation, and administration of both corporate and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) network infrastructures. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and field users to maintain secure, scalable, and reliable connectivity across our operations.
This is a high-impact, long-term opportunity for professionals who want to shape the digital backbone of one of Saskatchewan’s most critical utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, troubleshoot, and document LAN/WAN enterprise network systems, ensuring 24/7 uptime and high performance.
- Collaborate with team members on the architectural design and implementation of modern network infrastructure, including cloud integrations.
- Maintain and optimize Cisco and Fortinet networking equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
- Configure and manage network environments in Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, network peering, firewalls, and routing.
- Support hybrid cloud initiatives, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS network configurations.
- Ensure compliance with network security best practices using tools such as FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiNAC.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support emergency response and network recovery efforts.
- Assist with LTE, satellite communications, and SCADA networking components across the province.
- Develop strategic lifecycle plans for hardware refresh and emerging technologies.
- Maintain strong documentation and change management in accordance with ITIL frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience in network administration, design, and architecture.
- Proven expertise in BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and VXLAN with BGP EVPN for Spine and Leaf data centers.
- Solid experience with Fortinet and Cisco network hardware and software.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid cloud integration (OCI, AWS).
- Strong knowledge of load balancers, WAFs, network security groups, and route tables.
- Working knowledge of SCADA networks and industrial communication protocols is considered a strong asset.
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license (or equivalent) and the ability to travel province-wide.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Regina, SK, and attend in-person interviews if shortlisted.
