Job summary

Brandt Corporate Services Ltd. in Regina, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Network Analyst to join our IT/IS team.

You will ensure the reliability and performance of our global network while contributing to the design and deployment of new infrastructure. We are looking for a proactive professional who stays ahead of emerging network and security trends, manages our expanding cloud and on-premise environments, and ensures a secure and stable architecture across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a dedicated network support role.
  • Relevant post-secondary degree or college diploma.
  • Knowledge of IP subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, VLAN, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), wireless, VPN and load balancing.
  • Strong problem solver with ability to work autonomously.
  • Concise verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support data center, cloud, and branch networks, corporate Wi-Fi, enterprise firewall, etc.
  • Experience with Fortinet suite of enterprise products.
  • Site-based work installing and supporting network hardware.
  • Work with vendors to identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving network performance and stability.
  • Identify opportunities and establish policies to ensure security of the corporate network.
  • Provide advanced network support to the service desk team.
  • Mentor and coach peers.
  • Some travel will be required.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Support existing infrastructure including data center, cloud, and branch networks, corporate Wi-Fi, enterprise firewall, etc.
  • Experience with Fortinet suite of enterprise products
  • Site-based work installing and supporting network hardware.
  • Work with vendors to identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall network performance and stability.
  • Identify opportunities and establish policies to ensure the security of the corporate network.
  • Provide advanced network support to the service desk team.
  • Mentor and coach peers.
  • Some travel will be required.
What We Look For
  • 3+ years experience in a dedicated network support role.
  • Relevant Post-Secondary Degree, College Diploma
  • Knowledge and experience with the following network elements: IP Subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, IP trunking, NAT, VLAN,routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), enterprise wireless solutions, VPN and ZTNA,load balancing, network performance monitoring tools, etc.
  • Strong problem solver that adheres to best practice solutions.
  • Capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Concise verbal and written communication skills

Candidates with technical knowledge or experience in the following areas will be preferred:

  • Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCNA), Fortinet (NSE), Azure or other applicable industry certifications.
  • Hands on experience with equipment from Cisco, Fortinet, Unifi
  • Network access control solutions
  • Data center network architecture and equipment.
