Reporting to the Lead, Digital Systems, the Network Analyst is responsible for provisioning, supporting, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. This includes configuring hardware and software to ensure high availability, capacity, and performance aligned with business needs. Practical experience in switching, routing, wireless, and security disciplines is essential.

We seek someone with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional influencing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to translate technical information for diverse audiences. A self-motivated team player with a passion for continuous improvement will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Be a safety leader by adhering to and promoting safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and handle escalations related to network issues.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network problems.
  • Manage network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Create and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
  • Ensure network reliability, consistency, and recoverability.
  • Follow change management procedures to control network modifications.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting network hardware and software.
  • Use the IT ticketing system to track incidents, escalations, and requests.
  • Collaborate with team members, departments, and vendors to analyze and meet network requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, operational procedures, manuals, and hardware inventory.
  • Support networking projects from development to implementation.
  • Develop and update network topology diagrams.
  • Organize network infrastructure and perform cable management according to standards.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a technical diploma with relevant experience or certifications.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT services, network infrastructure, or relevant industrial settings, preferably mining.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, virtualization, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are assets.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices; project experience is an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
