Join our client’s team as a Network Solutions Architect! (REMOTE)

Are you a dedicated tech enthusiast with a knack for building top-notch computer networks? We're looking for a proficient Network Solutions Architect to craft and optimize seamless network infrastructures. In this role, you'll oversee the operation and maintenance of network components within a dynamic multi-vendor environment. Your expertise will drive problem analysis, software configuration, hardware replacement, all while maintaining professionalism and data security.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient computer networks, including connections and cabling.
  • Diagnose system issues, troubleshoot network bottlenecks, and apply corrective actions.
  • Identify and resolve issues within the LAN infrastructure, from minor glitches to significant bugs.
  • Configure and test software, and perform hardware repairs and maintenance.
  • Evaluate network performance and seek optimization opportunities.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance.
  • Provide guidance and instructions to team members.
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure quality and expertise.
Technical Proficiency:
  • 5 to 7 years of senior technical support, system administration, or similar client-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in cybersecurity incident response, containment, and remediation.
  • Proficiency in system, network, and application rebuilding and restoration.
  • Familiarity with VMWare ESX/Hyper-V, Active Directory troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills in Windows environments, including OS and network diagnostics.
  • Experience with diverse hardware platforms like NAS, SAN, servers, and networking devices.
  • Excellent communication skills for addressing customer issues.
  • Solid networking background, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP), DHCP, DNS, VPN, IPV4, and IPV6.
  • Knowledge of network switching (L2 and L3), VLANs, port security, and enterprise wireless solutions (Cisco, Aruba, FortiNet).
  • Experience with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD, CheckPoint, FortiNet PaloAlto, Cisco Meraki.
  • Ability to analyze and capture network traffic.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills for independent and team work.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a network technician or similar role.
  • Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi technologies.
  • TIL version 3 Foundation or Practitioner Certification.
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent in IT.
  • Preference for Tier 1 vendor certifications (ACMA/ACMP, ACDA/ACDP).
  • BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in solution design, technical infrastructure, and technical support documentation.
  • Experience coordinating technical builds across domains (application, security, etc.).
  • Skill in translating requirements into technical specifications.
  • Expertise in security services (access management, network security, endpoint security, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data center environments, private cloud, SDWAN, Citrix ADC, VPN deployment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially in producing technical documentation.
