BlackBerry Inc. in Waterloo, Ontario, is seeking an Accounting Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the Accounting Operations team during NetSuite ERP reimplementation, ensuring timely month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance deliverables.

You will reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, assist with intercompany accruals, review vendor invoices, support audits, and help automate processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field.
• Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP (AP & GL).
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to produce quality work.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational coverage for assigned accounting and compliance activities during the NetSuite ERP reimplementation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, incl. journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze general ledger account reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Assist with intercompany revenue accruals and settlement activities.
• Prepare vendor invoices for PO terms and services; review against approvals.
