Job summary

Mowi in New Brunswick is seeking a Net Wash/Maintenance Technician to keep our nets clean, safe, and ready for sea. In this role you will operate high-pressure washing systems, forklifts, and other equipment in the Net Shop and yard, contributing to efficient daily operations.

You will perform routine cleaning, handling, scheduling, and basic repairs, while maintaining accurate records and payroll timesheets. A valid interest in hands-on, physical work and a commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience from farming, fishing, warehousing, or similar.
• Physically capable work with lifting and standing all day.
• Interest in operating forklifts, skid steers and high-pressure washers.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Wash and prepare nets in the Net Shop and yard using high-pressure systems.
• Assist with handling, staging, and moving nets and equipment.
• Record work details and timesheets for payroll.
• Support purchasing and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on net washing gear.
