Job summary

Voyageur Aviation Corp. is seeking a Manager for the NDT (Accessory Shop) to lead and optimize the NDT department, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery of complex inspections.

You will supervise staff, manage customer and vendor relations, and drive continuous improvement in NDT processes. The role requires post-secondary technical education, CGSB Level 2 certifications, and at least five years in NDT, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a technical field.
• Mandatory CGSB Level 2 in ET/PT/MT.
• NAS 410 Level 2 qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in NDT or related technical role.
• Demonstrated leadership and employee development capabilities.
• Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and report-writing skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, mentorship and performance management to NDT personnel.
• Recruit, onboard and retain qualified NDT staff.
• Manage customer and vendor relationships and ensure contractual alignment.
• Ensure safe, compliant and efficient delivery of NDT services.
• Oversee quality checks, audits and adherence to procedures.
• Handle financial reporting, estimates and invoicing for the NDT Shop.
• Promote Voyageur’s Safety Management System and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement NDT procedures for materials and equipment.
• Coordinate test results communication with stakeholders and customers.
• Foster client relationships and pursue future business opportunities.
